The Authority is an independent water district created by the Texas legislature in 1955 for the sole purpose of providing the people of Benbrook, Texas with water and sanitary sewer service. Any comments or suggestions are welcome.

2006 Water Water Quality Report

CANCELATION OF MAY 10, 2008 GENERAL ELECTION In accordance with Title 1, Chapter C, Subchapter C, Section 2.053 of the Texas Election Code, a governing body of a political subdivision may declare each unopposed candidate elected to office and cancel the election upon certification that:
1.     The deadline for placement on the General Election ballot and declaration of write-in candidacy has passed;
2.     That each candidate on the ballot is unopposed for election to office; and 3.     There are no propositions to appear on the ballot in that election. BENBROOK WATER AUTHORITY BOARD OF DIRECTORS At the April 1, 2008 Benbrook Water Authority meeting, the BWA Secretary will certify to the Directors that the following candidates are unopposed in the May 10, 2008 General Election.
